DISASTER comenzó a finales del año 1999 cuando Andrés "Morbid Dog" Álvarez (guitarra líder) y Pablo "Arklon" Pascal (baterista) desataron tonos pesados propios del clásico thrash metal. A pesar de ser una época dura para este género, en 2002 logran Grabar su primer Demo titulado “Rehearsal”, el cual incursionó en un nuevo y brutal estilo con influencia de la vieja escuela.A través de los años, el proyecto tuvo varios cambios de alineación hasta llegar a su formación actual: Juan Camilo Gallego (ex-baterista de Acero y actual baterista de PUBLIC ENEMY), Felipe López Quiceno (ex guitarrista de ACERO), Andrés ‘’Morbid dog’’ Álvarez (ex guitarrista ACERO) y Esteban Arboleda, que en los 90´s estuvo en bandas como INCUBO, AFLICCION (ahora GAIAS PENDULUM) y actualmente bajista en SPIRITUM.  El sonido crudo y las letras anárquicas que caracterizan a DISASTER como banda, se fundamentan en el rol humano como responsable de la guerra, la muerte y la destrucción.DISASTER ha participado en shows y festivales junto a grandes exponentes de la escena nacional como INFERNAL, DEGRADEATH, DISSECTOR, ATHANATOR y DAYCORE, ofreciendo al público una gran descarga de thrash metal ¡como nunca se ha visto!Próximamente será lanzada al público la primera producción completa llamada: "BLASPHEMY ATTACK" con nueve pistas llenas de energía, potencia, con su toque clásico y particular, además de un Bonus Track.

Despite being a tough time for the genre, in 2002 achieved record their first demo entitled "Rehearsal", which raid in a new brutal style with old school influences.Through the years, the heavy project had several lineups changes, until reaching its current formation: Juan Camilo Gallego (ex-drummer of “ACERO”, and also current drummer of “PUBLIC ENEMY”), Felipe López Quiceno (ex guitarist of “ACERO”), Andrew'' Morbid dog'' Alvarez (ex guitarist of “ACERO”) and Esteban Arboleda, who in the 90’s performed with bands like INCUBO, AFFLICTION (now GAIAS PENDULUM) and also currently bass in SPIRITUM.The raw sound and anarchy lyric that represents DISASTER as a band are based on the human's role as head of war, death and destruction.DISASTER has performed in lot of shows and festivals sharing stage with great exponents of national scene such as INFERNAL, DEGRADEATH, DISSECTOR, ATHANATOR and DAYCORE, offering a unique load of thrash metal ¡never seen!Soon will be released to public the first full production called: "BLASPHEMY ATTACK" with nine tracks filled with energy, power, with its unique and classic touch including also a bonus track.
